Ultima Online - ex players

I was on Great Lakes.
Nimrod [BRL] - The black Rune Library.

Since this game looks like UO as much, I'm guessing there will be a ton of ex-players here.


I've played for about 2-3 years, it was fun, but I quit and moved on to WoW.
I since quit that, and played a variety of other junk, Diablo 3 for a while which got stale rather too fast.
Path of Exile is indeed better.

I was on Catskills at launch. I also played in the beta before UO was released. I don't remember how long I played, but I do remember why I quit. There were so many changes to the game balance that would make the game feel completely different. One day I logged in after the latest patch, played for a bit, then quit the game. Enough was enough. I actually remember the experience quite vividly.

Funny enough, it might be worth looking into - it's a renaissance server, so none of the colorful stuff, just felucca only.

I also played on Great Lakes. I was in the guild Krieger. We had a member named Nimrod, would that happen to be you? I also played WoW and Diablo 3. However, Krieger seemed to die off after Diablo 1 and Ultima Online. I found Path of Exile to be a little too... slow, I guess? Also, the camera is too close for my liking. Currently I only play League of Legends and Torchlight 2. I am eagerly awaiting this game, Shroud of the Avatar (another Richard Garriot game) and Elder Scrolls Online. I am most interested in this one though.

I never enjoyed this one for some reason. Maybe I am too old fashioned lol
