2. Thanks for the explanation; I only have Swordplay, so it is just the first level I am missing.

3. I noticed that the chance of a successful disarm (e.g. 40 %) will not change after a reload, but the given percentage is pointless if the outcome is fixed when you enter the map.

A chance of 40 % means that from an infinite number of attempts there should be 60 % fails, not 100 % (I do not think that I just had bad luck and the 50 times I tried were simply a statistically coincidence resulting in complete failure Wink ).
But I have to admit that any other mechanic would result in people reloading until the outcome is fine for them, which made traps completely useless in terms of a threat to the player character.
