Glad to hear that! In fact, getting some awareness and a community built around the project first of all will probably help your future KS a lot. ''Zealots''/''Fans'' spreading the word for you across the various forums and friends they have will help I'm sure.
I'm sorry if I end up sounding like my mother by giving a warning!! Polls and getting ideas from the community is really good as it helps give you a larger perspective that a small team focused on a project can accomplish by itself. But trying to please people is truly a double-edged blade. Many people end up feeling "entitled" to being listened to and get upset when there's no reply from the devs or if their idea isn't put in.
We're still far from that
, but just a warning that if it ever becomes too big. You might do well to pick someone to be a mod or representative for you on the forums. Because otherwise that could eat up a lot of your time and energy that could be spent working on the game I'll be playing! 
... And it also helps keep the "community" happy.
