I was noticing if you ignite/turn on your torch while in daylight, it turns off by it's self after maybe a half second.
This is the only game so far I have seen this occur.
The player should be held accountable for leaving their torch on in daylight allowing the torch to diminish over time as it does in the dark. This feature also prohibits turning on your torch before entering a well so that you can see immediately when you are inside the well.
Maybe it's a bug instead?
