If there was one, people would be able to talk about - whatever, it would perhaps give the forum a chance to pick up some more readers, and some activity.

I tend to agree with this. Of all the game forums I'm on due to Kickstarter, this really is the only one I'm checking almost daily.
Doesn't matter to me go for it.
